Integrating technology in AMD screening: Part 2

This lecture is the second in a two part series on how modern technology can be integrated into everyday practice. It will discuss the use of OCT in the detection, monitoring and differential diagnosis of macular conditions along with how best to manage and advise those patients presenting with or at risk of developing AMD.

This lecture is in four sections:

SECTION 1

Technology in AMD screening. Craig McArthur discusses the use of OCT in the detection of changes in retinal architecture within the macular area. He also demonstrates the ease of use of these instruments during a routine eye examination.
