Integrating technology in AMD screening: Part 2
This lecture is the second in a two part series on how modern technology can be integrated into everyday practice. It will discuss the use of OCT in the detection, monitoring and differential diagnosis of macular conditions along with how best to manage and advise those patients presenting with or at risk of developing AMD.
This lecture is in four sections:
Technology in AMD screening. Craig McArthur discusses the use of OCT in the detection of changes in retinal architecture within the macular area. He also demonstrates the ease of use of these instruments during a routine eye examination.
Differential Diagnosis. Craig McArthur discusses how the use of OCT can help in the detection, diagnosis and monitoring of macular changes in both symptomatic and asymptomatic patients.
Putting it into practice. Peter Ivins discusses how modern technology can be integrated into your practice building business model.
Peter Ivins, Dr Frank Eperjesi and Craig McArthur discuss how the development of modern technology can help in our detection of AMD and those who are at an increased risk of developing the condition. They will also discuss how this technology can fit into everyday practice.
